Afternoon Seminar : A highly interactive seminar covering the industry. Topics include, what it’s like to plan your own tour, YouTube algorithms, social media branding, collaborating with other artists, securing media exposure, career strategies, merchandising, breaking down the anatomy of a record, distribution, production, writing deals, and many other topics that will be catered to the audience.
Visual Tutorial : A instructional session where students and staff will be able to watch how a beat is made from a highly regarded producer in the industry. Visualizing how the beat gets deconstructed (broken down into its most basic samples) and reconstructed (think “How it’s made” for your favorite melodies). Including mixing your beats and how to use the FL Studio interface. For additional cost, we can add writing, video production, and mastering workshops that follow the same format.
The Show : The workshop series is finalized by a high-energy concert that not only serves as a fun event but is an all-encompassing experience that pulls together the content covered during the previous workshops. Showing everything we have learned in a live format. Added bonus: select campus and local artists can participate and use the event to gain exposure.
2) We collaborate with students and local artists. We appreciate bringing a top performer to a venue but how often can we attend an event that features artists around us that we truly know? This aspect makes the event memorable and personal, leaving students with a deeper sense of community, belonging, and attachment to their school. These are the types of sentiments that are lasting and could play a major role in influencing that student to give back to the school after they graduate.
3) We intend to be a regularly scheduled event. Whether monthly, quarterly, yearly, you can count on thefm.co to execute a professional event every single time.
